God Cares...

Have you ever pictured yourself in the boat with Jesus’ disciples on that wind-tossed Sea of Galilee?
They had just witnessed five loaves of bread and two fish miraculously feeding 5,000 or more people.
Yet, when later found in a boat ready to capsize, they were about to learn their next step of faith.

“But when they saw Him walking on the sea,
they cried out; for they all saw Him and
were troubled. And immediately He talked
with them and said to them, ‘Be of good cheer!
It is I; do not be afraid.’”
(Mark 6:49)

GROWING IN FAITH

Did you not recognize Me?
I came along by your side when I saw
you in your distress.
It was dark and the
elements swirled around you.
I saw the fear in your face
as I approached.
You had seen what I could do.
How often do I need to show you
before you can believe?
But you did not believe I could be there
to rescue you and did not see Me.
“It’s someone sent to
torment me,” you thought.
But no, it was I, come again,
to show God’s great power
so that you might always trust in Me
and never doubt again!
