God Cares...

Certainly the “Promise of the Father”, The “Helper”,
 the “Spirit of truth”, all names for the Holy Spirit,
came in great power, at Pentecost, distributing Spiritual gifts
 so the body of Christ could function in the unity of the Spirit.
(Acts, Chapter 2)
 
We still depend on the baptism with the Spirit individually
 to take our place in unity with other Spirit-filled believers
 as the working body of Christ—the church.

“But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you
from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds
from the Father, He will testify of Me.”  (John 15:26)
 
PROMISE OF THE FATHER
 
I called My Apostles to Me one by one.
They came and walked with Me.
I showed My power so they would know Me.
They did not turn (except the one),
but continued to follow Me.
I have not changed. I still call those
who will follow and be obedient.
I send the Holy Spirit from the Father
to infill you, teach, comfort and guide,
to bring to your remembrance
 all that I am and have done in you.
I send the Spirit to pour gifts
upon each member of My body
to make it strong and effective
for My kingdom. Though you
may not understand, never doubt,
Come, receive My fullness!
