Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative written Word of God. II Tim 3:15-17, I Thes 2:13, II Pet 1:21

We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost. Deut 6:4, Ex. 3:14, Is. 48:16, Matt. 28:19, Luke 3:22

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His bodily future return to this earth in power and glory to rule a thousand years. Matt. 1:23, Jo 5:22-23

We believe the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ. Acts 4:12, Rom. 5:8-13, 10:9, Jas. 1:21, Eph 2:8

We believe regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation. Titus 3:5

We believe the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer. Matt 8:16-17, Acts 5:16, Jas. 5:14-16

We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4 is given to believers who ask for it. Lu. 24:49, Acts 1:4-8, 8:12-17, 10:44-46, I Cor 12:1-31

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation. Matt 25:31-46, Rev. 20:11-15, I Thes. 4:16-17

We believe the Church is the body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Holy Spirit, with divine appointments for the fulfillment of her Great Commission. Eph. 1:22-23, 2:22, Heb. 12:23, I Cor 12:13, 28, 14:12, Eph. 4:11-16

We believe in the Ordinances of the Church
1. Baptism in water. Matt. 28:19, Mk. 16:16, Acts 10:48, ROM 6:4
2. The Lord's Supper of Holy Communion. II Pet. 1:4, I Cor 11:23-26
